Hello,

Can anyone out there confirm that James H. Nicholson of the 1st Florida was killed during the war, specifically at Franklin? The regimental roster indicates he surrendered in April 1865, but I believe he was actually killed at Franklin and is buried in the McGavock Cemetery. If you know the answer please provide a source.
