The Tennessee in the Civil War Message Board

Re: Old Flintlocks at Ft. Donaldson

Hello, Ms. Street:

I hadn't really thought about it, but I guess I was assuming that the Nashville armory was the state armory, rather than a state armory. Thanks for setting me straight.

I may have to start a database on armories and gun factories. Just what I need, another project. I recently started entering every Civil War era hospital I come upon in a database, with location, physical description, person in charge, history, whatever regiments were known to have utilized that hospital, etc. I posted some 1862 and 1863 Nashville hospitals' info on this board when I started.

I trust your database of Tennessee soldiers in growing fatter and sassier by the day.

Again, thanks for the additional info.

Regards,
Hoyt
