Thanks George. However, my Charles was definitely in the CSA. It is a common name and I've often had to sort out the records of other men named Charles Reynolds. Charles had a brother JP Reynolds who did fight for the Union in the 96th Ohio. They both survived and at family get togethers would always refight the war. I have a copy of the letter Charles wrote when he resigned from the infantry with plans to join the cavalry. So I would still like to see a list of the actions and movements of the 10th TN Cavalry CSA.
