Thomas J. Bingham, Private, Company C, 4th Regiment Tennessee Cavalry (McLemore’s), enlisted March 9, 1863 at Columbia by Lt. Hancock for 3 years, last recorded present at the December 31, 1864 muster, no further records

Note, there are no subsequent muster rolls for Company C

S. F. Bingham, Private, Captain James M. Phillips’s Company,* enlisted October 29, 1861 at Nashville by Lieutenant Hunt for 12 months, recorded May 26, 1862 as 4th Corporal, age 19, last recorded present at the May/June, 1863 muster, no further records

Note, he must have been dropped from the rolls for some unknown reason by mid 1864 as the next surviving muster roll for the period June 30 to December 31,1864, does not record his status

* This company subsequently became Company C, 4th (McLemore’s) Regiment Tennessee Cavalry
