I am looking for ANY info on my grand fathers grandfather who died in the civil war..I have found on line Co B 10 reg Tenn cav...Found a paper that says he was union and then found records that he was confederate and died in Camp Douglas Chicago, Ill...They have camp records that show a JS Dobbs died in Nov 1863 and his body was shipped home....My questions: where is home, who got the body and where is it buried .....Is he Union or Confederate and how do I get records of the history of the 10th Cav????Any help would be so great for me...
