My ancestor, William Hunter Hall enlisted at Memphis, Tn in 1861, however he was from Marshall county, Ms. Where could I find the enlistment papers on this man? He served with Compabny A,9th Infantry, Mississippi Sharpshooters, but apparently they all enlisted at Memphis.
Any help on this would certainly be appreciated.
