Yes, Henry, they did. He was actually there twice ... once in March-April 1863 and then later in the month of April, and May. He wasn't able to return with the regiment to Columbia when they left Alabama the second time because of being ill. Since he was with Dibrell, and not Forrest, he didn't take part in the capture of Abel Streight's command. Dibrell was positioned to cover Streight's possible retreat to Mississippi.

Are you interested in something more specific in that timeframe, or just a broad interest?

By the way ... I corrected the subject line ... A. J. Lacy was in the 8th (Dibrell's) Tennessee Cavalry.
