It would appear that allthough Federals occupied Nashville, it would be sometime later before they controlled the nearby county side.

On March 8, the 4th Ohio Cavalry lost two men captured at Camp Jackson. On this same date, Gen. John Hunt Morgan was involved in a skirmish near Nashville.

On 11/6/1861 he mustered into "C" Co. OH 4th Cavalry

Allen D. Weaver
Residence was not listed; 25 years old.
Enlisted on 10/14/1861 as a Private.
On 11/25/1861 he mustered into "D" Co. OH 4th Cavalry

They were listed as:

* POW 3/8/1862 Camp Jackson, TN (Paroled)
