Thank you, Mr. Martin. Actually, you were the first person I thought of when I came upon Mr. Clark's obit. I remembered your ancestor Lt. Issac Stamper, Co. F, 43rd Tenn. received $28.25 from the Treasury at Washington, GA, and I wondered if perhaps Mr. Clark handed the money to him.
