Well, unfortunatly it's not much about Cyrus. It appears that Jill Garrett may have just pulled out info regarding the war and is probable that much more is in the newspapers about this fellow.

When you have time try and check out the Layland Museum in Cleburne. 201 Caddo St. 817-645-0940. Its been 20 years since I spent a day there and it might take me that long to find my notes again. What I do recollect is they have tons of original material. Much about the war, individual soldiers etc.
