Campbell for 12 months, appointed 4th Sergeant January 11, 1862, recorded as Private on the May/June, 1862 and subsequent muster rolls, elected 3rd Sergeant November 1, 1862, among the troops of General Joseph E. Johnston's army surrendered April 26, 1865 and paroled at Greensboro, N. C., May 1, 1865

* This company subsequently became Company E [McClanahan Guards], 6th Regiment Tennessee Infantry (This company was raised with men from Madison County)
