Anyone know anything abt Ft. Harrison, Petersburg?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about Ft. Harrison during the siege of Petersburg. My g.g.grandfather was John Warren White and served in Co. "K" ("Spartan Rifles"), Palmetto SharpShooters, S.C. Vols.. During the siege of Petersburg in Sept of 1864 Ft. Harrison was takn by the Yankees (they renamed it Ft. Bonham). Gen. Robt. E. Lee personally picked some crack units and personally directed the counter-attack in an effort to take it back. The Palmetto SharpShooters along with other units was among those. In the effort to retake the fort my g.g.grandfather was shot through the neck and then died about a month later on the way home. Only one brother, Jasper "Jack" White out of five White brothers made it home to Spartanburg, S.C..

I was wondering if anyone knows much about this fort. I have never seen it mentioned hardly anywhere, but have seen Ft. Gregg, etc. mentioned a lot.
Take care,
