Edwards for 12 months, recorded on the Jan/Feb, 1863 muster roll as assigned Extra Duty as Hospital Nurse, elected Bvt. 2nd Lieutenant June 4/6, 1863, wounded at Trevillian Station June 12, 1864, admitted Gen. Hosp., Charlottesville, Va. June 15, gunshot wound head/neck & face, died of ??? Haemmorage, June 23, 1864

* This company formerly served as Company B, 14th Battalion South Carolina Cavalry which was consolidated with others January 18, 1863 as the 5th South Carolina Cavalry
