Sloan for 3 years or the war, paid at Richmond, Va. as a paroled and exchanged prisoner October 1, 1862, captured July 14, 1863 at Falling Waters, Md., paroled until exchanged at Baltimore, Md., August 16, 1863, and forwarded to Point Lookout, Md. prison, transferred to Aiken’s Landing, Va., February 24, 1865, exchanged February 1865,** no further records
