Hi, I am researching a book, "A Secret Up Country" which involves the death of my Great Grandfather Robert Henry Ranson, Corp in Captain Dean's Co C of 4th SC Volunteers. RHR was mortally wounded at first Manassas and died two weeks later. I have just seen your posts re the 4th South Carolina Volunteers book and would appreciate your help locating a copy or knowing if it includes any information about Co C.
