There is an outside chance you might find a lead from the records of:

"The Wayside Hospital at Charleston became on Jan. 13, 1864, the First Louisiana Hospital and was used as a receiving, distributing, and transfer hospital.

"Records in the South Carolina Archives, Department at Columbia include . . . registers of patients, July 1862-Feb. 1865 (2 vols.) . . . "

There was also in Charleston the Soldier's Relief Hospital. However, there are no extant pertinent records available for your time period of interest.
