Joseph Culbreath (1820-1912)
- During the Mexican War served in the Palmetto Regiment, Co.L, with distinction. He was next to the last surviving member of the Regiment.

- Civil War era I show two "Joseph Culbreath" listed. A Lieut with the 3rd SC Infantry Co.C. also another by the same name served in Hamptons Infantry Co.A, Havent had a chance yet to define further to determine which is most likely or a better match.
