On October 30th 2010 I located POND FIELD CEMETERY..This is a link to view pictures I took.http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2070193&id=1005639813&l=499cbd8e22.The first time i visited there were 4 headstones...Now there are several wooden crosses marking graves that have been found..Don't know if they are soliders graves but I would venture to say yes...I also found out the land where the cememtery is located is scared Cherokee Indian grounds..Glad to share with others in my family.
