I'm researching the Magill / McGill family of South Carolina. More specifically, Wade Hampton Magill or McGill, b. abt. 1824 in SC. This is my gg grandfather who was relocated to Greene County TN by 1850, where I notice that he sometimes went by Hamp or Hampton. I am at a complete brick wall about Wade, so ANY help is so very appreciated! My profile is posted under the Tennessee message board of this site.
