I checked two sources. The US National Archives list him in Co. F, 26 VA Infantry. He enlisted as a corporal, left as a private. No further info.

Civilwardata.com provides info from the Virginia Regimental History Series. He was a waterman, enlisted at Rowe's Store, VA on 4-20-61 as a 1st corporal. He surrendered as a 4th sergeant at Appomattox Courthouse, VA on 4-9-1865.
