Here’s a first stab. I’ve tried to ID these men and present amplifying information.

Based on the subjects clothes, I’d tend to believe the photo was taken in the late 1920s or -30s. The subject must have been in his late 80’s figuring he must have enlisted at a young age having been born ca 1844,

I have indicated in caps names as found in the 1910 Illinois encampment roster, Also, three additional names found in the 1917 encampment roster, adding possible Unit IDs
