More Damning than Slaughter: Desertion in the Confederate Army by Mark Weitz

Has anyone read this book? I tend to buy books y'all recommend and have enjoyed them. I have been wondering about desertion and how it affected the wives and parents, children, friends, etc. (As I mentioned my Great Grandfather x2 Deserted, as a Corp, from the 11th Bat (Texas) Co E.)... thanks for input
