Four killed and seven wounded.

That would be an interesting project - to total up all battle casualties of black Confederates from existing and verifiable sources.
That article seems to be such as it gives names (Col. McLemore, Capt. Briggs) and even mentions one of the servants-
"Daniel McLemore, colored (servant to the Colonel of the regiment)." That is true. I have seen his name mentioned elsewhere (pension file) and he was servant to Col. McLemore.
