Question: How long will it be before the "Political Correctness" crowd wants to ban the following Christian names: Jefferson, Alexander, Leroy, Andrew, Henry, John, Joseph, George, Richard, James, William, and etal. The above names are the given names of various Confederate Officials. I know that banning of these foregoing names is not logical, but so are the other items banned i.e. the Confederate Flag, relocating of various Confederate monuments, there have even been rumblings of wanting to add Martin Luther King's name and likeness to the Stone Mountain Memorial, Stone Mountain, Georgia. Wonder what organization will eventually want to relocate stone mountain to one of the northern states.

I do not understand how the banning of names, location of Confederate Monuments, Confederate flags, etc. change the heroic deeds and contributions to our society by the Confederate States of America and their leaders. A fact is a fact and is not changed by renaming a site of learning that honored a Confederate general. The fact that the Confederate States existed is still factual and will never be erased by relocating a monument to a obscure location, or changing the name of a highway.

In my opinion, the more that changes to Confederate history is advocated, the more resistance to the change by citizens of the south. The South lost the war and honorably surrendered but we did not lose the honor that was taught to our great great grandparents and their descendants and was taught to citizens of the Southern States, even to the present day.
