Whoever ordered the transcriptions blew it on reviewing the work. In the case of Ms. W. E. Wesson, her record lists her birth place as "Ken" Another person on the same sheet is penned "Kens" In both cases the transcription reads Kenya.

I would not believe the computer would have been programmed to translate foreign entities in a U. S. Census. Seens it
had to have been outsourced to a foreign person.
