Michael, I know of at least 2 other Black Confederate Musicians among Florida troops :

Emanuel Osborn

Residence was not listed;
Enlisted on 5/24/1861 at St Augustine, FL as a Private.

On 5/24/1861 he mustered into "B" Co. FL 3rd Infantry
He was discharged on 11/1/1862

Other Information:
born in 1843
died 4/10/1907 in St Johns County, Fla. The last page of his pension application is a copy of his Marriage Certificate. He and his wife, Mary Ann, are both listed as "Colored."

Isaac Papino (his actual record says, "Black complexion."

Residence was not listed;
Enlisted on 5/24/1861 at St Augustine, FL as a Musician.

On 5/24/1861 he mustered into "B" Co. FL 3rd Infantry
He was discharged on 11/1/1862
(Discharged for old age)

He was described at enlistment as:
5' 8", dark complexion, dark eyes, dark hair

Other Information:
born in 1813 in St Augustine, FL
