Hello Michael, He appears to be the Staunton, Virginia area a few days ago. If that report is accurate than he should be about 160 miles away from DC. I spoke to a gentleman last night who has constant communication with him. He travels about twenty-six miles per day. He is currently joined by the Virginia Flaggers who walk behind Johnny each with their Confederate Battle Flags. I would suggest you contact the Virginia Flaggers if you would like to join for a few miles or more. I don't know how to make contact with the Virginia Flaggers as they are called. I do know the two following him are a man and a woman and Johnny said they are not slowing him down. If you will post your email I will send you some photographs of Johnny and the Virginia Flaggers walking up the highway. Johnny Cooper plans on walking to the Jefferson Memorial in DC.
