We've been trying to do that for years with the causes of the Civil War. You see where that has gotten us. We can not educate enough young people one on one to offset the indoctrination of the masses by our education system and TV.

It the 1950's (when I grew up) the Confederate Battle Flag was looked on as a symbol of southern pride and self determination to resist the government. It was a symbol of at least some of the American people to resist. The "Don't tread on me attitude". The Russians dignitaries who would visit the Southland would be amazed at the numbers of "rebel" flags flying and wonder why the United States Government would allow such displays.

The News media (TV) turned the Confederate Battle Flag into a racist banner in 1957 when it show up in Little Rock, Birmingham and others places protesting the use of federal troops (like the 101st Airborne) to enforce governmental edicts against the American people.

Whether right or wrong, we lost that battle when we cowered from them. The next flag to be banned will be the Yellow Gadsden (Don't Tread on me) Flag of the TEA party because it repersents the same defiance of the Confederate Battle Flag, and these people want to destroy any public resistance to their power.

But back to my point. IF the Constitution is no longer a binding agreement between the government and the people, then there is no Union of States which was what that document was meant to form. If there is no United States then there is no reason to reconized the birth of a dead nation.
