I agree with you totally Cousin. Not trying to be too simplistic, but the South had advantages of home soil and defense which were used to their upmost advantage. The slave labor contribution (voluntary or not) was vital. The North had endless resources, including over 200,000 German and Irish mercenaries. The South nearly won independence. BTW Roy, my dna is 80% British Isles (Scottish, English, Welsh==No Irish). The "Norwegians" in my family had to be Vikings because no Scandinavian names ever turned up in my genealogy research. I hope y'all never harm any of your ancient monuments and artifacts. I hope to visit one day.
