I generally don't care what Yankees think about Southern heritage. Trying to be objective, I only discovered in recent years about the timing between placing the CBF prominently at state capitals and changing state flags and so forth coincided with the civil rights turmoil. It was the right thing to do, but should have been much sooner. It is not hard for me to reconcile, but I am a middle aged Southern man. We need to explain and I am just not very articulate.
