None of these men appear in the Tennessee Confederate pension index. However, if they lived in another state, they could have applied there.

All of these men appear in the records of the 25th Tennessee on two cards only. They are described as either Freemen of Color, or Free Negros.

The last card in their files are for the date October 31, 1861. None thereafter. The next card in the files for the 25th is about a year later. Thus, they were all dropped from the rolls sometime in 1862, probably at the end of their initial 12 month obligation.
