I was reading the Confederate Veteran magazine and I read a article by a Mr. James King from the Lt. Col. Thomas M. Nelson Camp-Nelson's Rangers 414 SCV and he clamed that after the hanging of Captian Henry Wirz the Yanks cut off Wirtz's head and arms and then put them on display at the prison.

Is this true?

It's just too barbaric, too awful for that to have happened.

I would like to see documentation on this very much.
