New Jersey's 1807 and 1844 Constitution

I didn't know women could vote that early.

Prior to 1807 in the state of New Jersey, women and other races could vote in New Jersey... until they changed the state Constitution- "That from and after the passing of this act, no person shall vote in any state or county election for officers in the government of the United States, or of this state, unless such person be a free, white, male citizen of the state, of the age of twenty-one years, worth fifty pound proclamation money..."
