I just watched a moving documentary on the Battle of Chosin. What I came away with from this is the new movement or idea that the Korean War was a bonifide military victory for the United States over Communism. A lost victory, forgotten or ignored by the media and or political parties for decades. The firing of General MacArther, son of a Civil War general, was the beginning of the loss of our military espirit de corps and how politics/political correctness ruined the American military and, except for a brief period in the 1980s and 90s, still persist.
Is it also interesting, during the same period, the history of the American Civil War, became a victim of the same politics/political correctness mis-information in order to demonize and alienate 1/3 of the nation?
Why do we let our heroes be treated so?
