Friends, Last week a new policy went into effect at the National Archives in Washington, DC. Some of us may recall that www.fold3.com does not have the rosters for the letter S as an example in the 55th Regiment Alabama Infantry and the first few letters of the alphabet for Moreland's Alabama Cavalry as some examples. There are of course many more.

Starting last week if a researcher wants to go on the mico-film records at the Archives and look for such missing rosters as I did they will charge you .40 cents per copy when you download them on your flash drive. Up until last week it was free of charge.

Currently the hours are the same 9-5 Monday through Saturday with no pulls of course on Saturdays.
