None of these events were any uglier than the fate of the Roswell women. Like Col. Hodge said in another thread, war is a dirty revolting business. More civilians than soldiers were killed in WWII and Southern civilians (black and white) were mightily abused before, during and after the War for Southern Independence. http://www.civilwarnews.com/archive/articles/roswell_kirby.htm
