This is where it gets squirrely. Some of the Creeks who were listed as Creek and at that time may have lived in Alabama were in fact Natchez not to mention Choctaw or other. When the US went to war, trappers n traders dropped their pelts and joined ol Hickory's band of merry men. Some were half breeds so they may be listed as one or the other. Records were not quite Bible swearing true.

It's a mixed bag of humanity in that period in the South.
