David and Joe-

I've been to one reenactment, I'm not intrested in doing it myself, too much time and money and I've got too much genealogy to do in the time I have left. I would like to go to more, it made me feel a closer connection with my ancestors.

I was inpressed with the cannon fire. The noise and smoke. I sure my 17 year old great grandfather was scared the first
time he heard it. I sure would have been. I was most impressed with the horses and how they stood firm. Well trained.

I don't know how officers could control the battlefield with the noise, smoke and "rattle of the muskets"

Joe - take care of that gun it is worth a LOT!
