Re: State Sovereignty vs States Rights

The political sectionalism of the country isn’t as perfectly defined, either culturally or geographically. In 1860 the state and the state governors had much more power politically than today; they would take chances that states just will not do today. Also, there has been an additional 150 years of legal precedence through the federal laws and judicial system that has led to the total usurpation of the Constitution by the political parties, crippling the power of the people, nullifying the right of self determination and the pursuit of happiness to all Americans.
