Their train came right through Pensacola. There's a marker on Wright St. telling all about them passing through. Not sure why there's a marker for a ride by but ya never know what some folks will think is important. Davey Crockett was here but there's no marker saying so. Maybe because his remarks on the town were unfavorable.
