When you get right down to it, vilifying the CBF is too easy--made tragic by the inescapable fact that those who cared should have gone to the mat in moral outrage over the desecration of that flag a long time ago. Perhaps too much out of tacit agreement--way back when--too many stood by and did nothing while the CBF was co-opted by folks whose initial noble purpose gave way to a long and tawdry history of extremism that no American should be proud of.

The far left, as exemplified by the clown in the article that E.D. linked, is using your banner like a surfboard on two-foot-high kiddie waves. A big part of the problem is that the government schools have replaced American History—in all its richness and human complexity—with a homogenized form of 1984 socialism designed to make all of us good sheep meander numbingly in the same direction—to the shearing pen.
Personally, I do not think there is enough time left on the world clock to reverse this very sad situation.
