I'm doing some thinking on that. The first hurdle is finding the parents who are willing to get that involved. I think the idea is a good one and it probably could work if done right. Let me mull it over and see if I can think of some ideas that could bring this to parents attention. There has to be a better way to get our children to understand the nation they live in and the why and how it came to be. They also need to have a clearer picture of the devisive issues and what they led to. Not the cleaned up, easy version, but the real one. Even if some facts don't show the South in a perfect light, the true version has to be the real lesson. At least they will be better informed adults when they get to voting age.
