Good luck in honoring your ancestor.

What I am going to do , if the weather ever clears again, is buy a low sitting headstone for my ancestor and place it on his grave. I am not sure of the exact location of the grave, but know for a fact whe was buried in a family cemetery. Lucky for me his grave was recorded years ago by a researcher but the wooden headboard has since rotted away.

The reason I am buying the headstone is the cemetery is nearly lost, is on another persons property and is surround by pine trees. If one fell it would break the upright headstone and it would would be lost.
