My grandfather was Robert Edwin Rea (1881-1962). He was born, lived and died in Wesson, except for his time in Memphis at Southwestern College, now Rhodes College.
His career was with The Bank Of Wesson, starting as a janitor as a young teenager and later clerk, cashier and then president.

His father was James Samuel Rea (1853-1948), also of Wesson. J. S. Rea had been Secretary - Treasurer of Wesson Mills, one of the founders of The Bank of Wesson and later in the insurance business. J. S. was the younger brother of four CSA veterans and two brothers-in-law as well.
My g grandfather was born in Gallatin where his father George Robert Rea had settled when coming down river from PA in the 1830's to Port Gibson, then Gallatin.

Will be interested to see if you find any overlap of time and location between our families.
