The Mississippi in the Civil War Message Board

George & George,
I don't believe in coincidences. The timing is hard
to ignore.
What do you guys attribute the decline to?
Here's a prediction....In short order you will have
high officials of the new Civil War Museum in Richmond
advocating the removal of Civil War monuments in that city!
and doing so, happily. beware smiling faces.

Ken, my POV is this -- research completed. There were a bunch of us who worked on the 7th Miss. website and books. Those efforts are behind us, we have moved on so to speak. My family research is mostly done so I do not need to post. Also I own a blog and 3 website so my time for post on message boards is limited. That being the case I still read the Ns&Vs and the Mississippi boards.

Two, I can post something here almost daily about attacks on Southern heritage, but it does no good most readers read the post but never do any more than that.

The Confederate monuments in the city are being updated with the Yankee version of history.
