His record consists of only two cards, summarized below:

E. B. Rembert, Private, Company F, 4th Regiment Mississippi Cavalry,* enlisted August 31, 1863 at Sweet Water by Lt. McLewis for 3 years, recorded present at the June 30, 1864 muster,** among units surrendered by LGen. R. Taylor May 4, 1865 and paroled May 12, 1865, resident of Copiah County, Miss.

** Note, there are no subsequent Company F muster rolls found in the records. Hence, we have no record of his subsequent service
