Not sure what I can add. The hospital in question was burned by Union Cavalry on February 17, 1864. At the hospital was a Private William Beckmann with Company F of the 2nd Texas Infantry (Moore's) who had been shot at Shiloh and taken to Louisville and then released to Camp Chase and then paroled and exchanged at Vicksburg per the Dix-Hill Cartel. He was assigned to the Texas Hospital at Quitman and was a baker and a carpenter. The graves at this hospital have various Confederate units.
