The Mississippi Archives and History has on microfilm one admissions register and one cemetery register from the Beauvoir Memorial Confederate Soldiers' Home.

The admissions register or resident register is dated from 12-2-1903 to 2-19-1957. The register lists the names of veterans, wives, and widows admitted to Beauvoir, and also lists admission dates, the county they were from, the unit or ship veterans were assigned to, and remarks about when residents left or died.

The cemetery register is dated from 3-21-1907 to 10-10-1951, and lists veterans, wives, and widows who were buried in the Beauvoir Confederate Cemetery. Each listing includes the unit or ship the veteran was assigned to, but does not provide the date of death (the age at the time of death and, usually, the date of death are included for wives and widows). The register is arranged according to burial location and notes a few names whose graves were not marked.

To be accepted to the soldiers' home, veterans were required to fill out a pension form for the state of Mississippi and an application to Beauvoir. The framed application at Beauvoir that Mr. Miller mentioned is a blank application. It is believed that all the original applications were lost in Hurricane Camille.
