I'm not finding a CMSR on a man with that name. Corporal William Washington Riser of Company A, age 20 at enlistment, was killed at Baker's Creek, May 13, 1863. He enlisted at Jackson, March 20, 1862, and was promoted to corporal on Dec. 1. His residence was shown as Terry's Depot, Hinds County. Pvt. Adam Riser, a 28 year old dentist, (no residence shown) enlisted in Company A at Vicksburg, Aug. 3, 1862, and was discharged 4 days later - no reason shown. Pvt. Thomas A. Riser/Rizer, age 23, enlisted in Company A at Enterprise, April 21, 1863. He was a resident of Raymond and was paroled at Jackson May 12, 1865, after the surrender at Citronelle.
