Henry Augustus Moore Co, F 15th Miss. Inf.

I am currently researching all the photographs of Confederate soldiers showing the "Jeff Davis and the South!" signage.

One of those photos is of Henry Augustus Moore Co, F 15th Miss. Inf. whose record on Fold3 consists of a single card which shows an enlistment date of 8 May 1862 and states died at Water valley, Miss. 14 Aug.

As the card states that he had never been paid I assumed that the date of death was 14 Aug 1862 and that he probably died from wounds received at Corinth.

However, other information on the web and the 1990 Confederate Calendar state that he died 14 Aug 1863 from wounds received at Vicksburg. None of the later date information list a source so I would be grateful for any information as to the source of this information.
